Position Summary: To serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, to provide therapeutic recreational and activity services to adult, adolescent, or child patients with emotional or substance abuse problems.

Essential Duties:
* Develops and implements activity therapy plans
* Maintains the clinical and administrative documentation for services rendered
* Participates in the effective allocation of department resources
* Requests supplies and equipment required for assigned activities
* Provides individual instruction for clients as required

Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of one or more activity areas such as recreation, occupational therapy, music, or arts and crafts; Comprehensive knowledge of individual and group behavior and effective ways of working with clients; Intermediate knowledge of the general nature of physical or mental illnesses/disabilities and/or developmental disabilities; Ability to apply and adapt skills and knowledge of activity areas to planned sessions of therapeutic activities; Ability to foster interest, initiative, responsibility, and experimentation in clients and discourage inappropriate responses; Ability to observe client behavior, record observations, and prepare reports; CTSR, ATR, MT-BC, drama therapy, or related disciplines preferred.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.

SUPERVISES: N/A
SHIFT: 3 – 8 PM M-F

Position Summary: To facilitate the orderly admission of patients to the organization, balancing the patient's comfort and ease with the organization's operating needs and financial goals.

Essential Duties:
• Verify patient insurance benefits verbally and send written documentation to insurance company.
• Receives and processes physician's order for patient admission and completes related admission procedures; obtains patient and other required signatures on voluntary admission or commitment papers; obtains various releases, including: patient activity participation, school records and immunization records (if child or adolescent), information to referral sources, physician billing, insurance, and Utilization Review companies.
• Obtain pre-authorization for admission when needed.
• Completes face sheet; assigns patient identification number.
• Conducts actual admissions during regular hours; checks documentation on after hour admissions.
• Answer numerous daily telephone calls from patients, insurance companies, and others.
• Maintains supplies required for admitting purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY: High school level reading, writing and mathematic skills; good telephone and oral communication skills; legible handwriting; ability to concentrate on tasks in high traffic area; maintain information in the highest confidence; meet deadlines; good organization and priority setting skills; preferred basic data entry skills with some computer experience; strong customer service skills; empathy; attention to detail.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: Ability to stoop, kneel, lift, moving about in work area and throughout organization to accomplish tasks, finger (i.e. pick or type) and grasp. Ability to express and exchange ideas via spoken word, conveying information to others accurately and on occasion, quickly. Her sound with no less than 40 db loss @ Hz, 1000 Hz, and 2000 Hz with or without correction; perceive detailed information through oral communication and to make fine discriminations in sound. Perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers.

Work is predominantly sedentary in nature requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The worker is generally not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.

Position Summary: To achieve optimal utilization of Aurora Behavioral Health Care’s continuum of care by developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in designated market(s). Candidate will be representing Aurora Behavioral Health Care’s Inpatient Military Treatment programs throughout strategic Military Installations in the US. Will work closely with Military Program Clinical Director and Director of Business Development to develop strategic business plans, identify gaps and opportunities and opportunities for presentations and collaborative relationships with Military bases.

Essential Duties:
• Establishes contact with potential referral sources.
• Demonstrates skill in identifying the most viable potential referral sources within particular target market(s).
• Effectively incorporates relevant research findings (e.g., demographics, referral patterns) in identifying contacts
• Cultivates relationships with prospective referral sources, generating desire on their part to utilize Aurora's services.
• Facilitates positive communications between hospital and referral source.
• Develops and implements a strategic sales plan.
• Tracks weekly call activity accurately and legibly; as requested, submits information to supervisor in a timely manner.

• Conduct meetings with military healthcare providers and command personnel.

Education:

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF UTILIZATION REVIEW
STATUS: NON EXEMPT - FULL TIME AND PER DIEM AVAILABLE
SUPERVISES: N/A

Position Summary: To deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to adults (typically age 18 and older) with psychiatric or emotional disorders; to serve actively and constructively as a member of the organization’s multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the organization’s and adults psychiatric philosophy of care.

Essential Duties:
• Collects and analyzes data regarding patient’s physical, psychological, self care, educational, and anticipating discharge planning needs
• Develops a comprehensive outline of care to be delivered to attain expected outcomes; includes in this plan, specific goals and interventions delineating nursing actions unique to each patient
• Maintains effective communication with all units and departments
• Functions within the policies and philosophies of the organization
• Supervises direct patient care as required
• Works within budgetary constraints to include staff overtime and supplies
• Carries out medication management responsibilities
• Conducts patient community meetings
• Provides input into discharge planning process
• Maintain patient, and unit related documentation
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an approved vocational nursing school; must have a current California RN license, current MAB and CPR required; demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the Adult for a given shift; record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others; displays basic knowledge of treatment procedures; interventions common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice; record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be a role model to others; basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the adult psychiatric population; application of this knowledge to adult nursing care; basic knowledge of medical terminology especially those terms associated with adult psychiatric care; through familiarity of psychopharmacy and the use of psychotropic medications with adult psychiatric population; basic teaching and training skills helpful; problem-solving; organizational and time management; crisis intervention skills; written and oral communication skills; skills in facilitating and/or co-facilitating process orientated and didactic groups; skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a variety of clinical and support team members; empathy for patients and their families; skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stoop, crouch, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds..
